Cooper grew up just south of Boston in Brockton, MA. He attended Brockton High School and played for the Varsity Basketball team. During his senior year of highschool, he helped lead his team through a successful season, ending with a 22-3 record. Upon graduating, he continued his studies at Salem State University.

 

In 2014, he took on the role of an assistant coach of an AAU team. Soon after, Coach Cooper joined the USAB Youth Development Program, which opened up a door of opportunity. From coaching seminars to networking with other passionate individuals in the industry, Cooper quickly began absorbing a wealth of information and building important relationships that set him on track to work with the best athletes and build an outstanding coaching reputation. 

 

More recently, he has worked as a Basketball Skills Trainer & Consultant out of Boston Sports Club in Wellesley, MA, developed his very own coaching brand; Corey Cooper Basketball, and now works closely with many young athletes looking to improve their game at Next Level Factory. He finds great fulfillment in providing mentorship, creating workout regiments and breaking down the game for his clients.
